Ginair Goodwin McKerrow, M.S.W., LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist with a private practice specializing in treating women’s issues; depression and eating disorders with adult and adolescent women. Ginair also is the aftercare and alumni coordinator for the Women's Center at Ridgeview Institute, where she works with women who have severe eating disorders, depression, substance abuse, grief and trauma issues. She has been part of the Ridgeview team for 10 years and lives life with the purpose of being an instrument for hope, healing and change -- demonstrated through both her clinical experience as well as her volunteer service in the community. This noted philanthropist is a passionate supporter of women and children’s causes and is active in several advocacy organizations. In 2009, Ginair received the Chayil Woman of the Year Award for her contributions championing causes in the community. In addition to serving on the boards for Children Helping Children, Eating Disorder Information Network, she has chaired and worked on many committees for V-DAY, a global movement to end violence against women and girls, A Girls Journey for Growth,March Of Dimes, Men Stopping Violence, and Chayil.
Ginair holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Georgia. She is native of Georgia and lives with her husband of 16 years, restaurant entrepreneur George McKerrow, their daughter Katherine and their four legged children Sabrina, Luci & Daisy.
